ABOUT ME

I am a Chicago-based Industrial Designer, as well as a Marketer. On top of that, I have partaken in additional types of design such as Graphic Design and Motion Graphics.

I’ve always had a bit of a creative neuron nestled within my brain, ever since I was younger. There’s something about the way we as humans interact with our surrounding objects that captivates my attention- from the way we respond to the subtlest of tactile sensations, to the ways our eyes take in a product’s alluring form.

Subduing the creative part of my brain used to come from making art. I would draw quite a bit when I was younger, both traditionally and digitally. However, that wasn’t enough for me. I needed to make something real, something tangible, something impactful; get my hands dirty, so to speak. This is how I began to tread into the world of design, beginning with graphic design, and then gearing more towards industrial design. My interest lies generally in the manufacturing process, and, to go even bigger, industrialized machinery. Machines from power drills to hydraulic presses can make the path of innovation so much easier, but what fascinates me the most is that this wouldn’t be possible without the spark of a designer. Even life-dependent instruments like cardiovascular stents and diabetic patches wouldn’t be made possible without a designer behind the scenes. I would like to be part of this from the very start of an idea, such as that of a patent, to the very end, where prototypes and manufacturable products are being produced.
